It’s not 2012. AAL WOs get a flow. DAL WOs get an interview. UAL will soon find the 145s they own being parked with no one to fly them. |

The last piece of advice I'll offer (besides GTFO, ASAP), is ignore the BS coming from management. They did the same thing to us, floating all these rumors of great things coming, but only if we stay. Delta and SkyWest are ruthless and don't care one bit about you. They will say whatever they have to say to keep you working until their predetermined shut down date. Then when the cat is out of the bag and the date has been announced, they will turn to bribes. The rumor that United will buy you guys and staple you is one of the best I've ever heard. In the unlikely chance UAL takes a 49% stake, the most you'll get is a guaranteed Hogan. Direct flow is dead because then they lose control of their hiring. UAL still has thousands of qualified applicants on file, and they can afford to be choosy. AA is an anomaly and not everyone over there thinks its grand.
It is not about Ual having enough apps on file! They openly say their goal is to attract pilots and boost their pipeline of pilots.. that is what they say their goal is... this is about stabilizing their FEED by making sure they are STAFFED!! A direct flow could be 25%-35% of all UAL newhires coming from the direct flow... they will still control 75% or so of their hiring from Off the Street... keep in mind that they already interviewed probably 60% or so of the XJT pilot group(erj) through the CPP already... so in reality, they will just make a flow of a group they already interviewed. Maybe the guys not so lucky in the cpp will probably get a lucky pass with a flow. I have heard most of guys got the thumbs up on the 2nd time around anyway. But the word "flow" to new hires.. that sounds good. I also wouldnt be shocked to see United throw Xjt some extra money to boost the signing bonus for new hires. If you want to see what will happen "IF it does" just look how Envoy is setup with AA and thats where Kirby came from. Xjt would become a separate subsidiary of Ual similar to Envoy is to AA and they put in a flow (no staple), help Xjt boost signing bonuses and then all the sudden Xjt is in the game as far as new hires wanting to go to XJT. The airline becomes staffed and then you have stability, once stability comes then you can add some growth while being in control of that growth, hey they might even cancel some E175 contracts and bring those E175s to Xjt. Ual has been at a disadvantage against DAL,AA not owning a regional outright. The times have changed and Kirby knows this and frankly so do alot of people. Its that simple |

Their Commutair trial was a disaster. They will have to offer way more than that!

Our COO TV apparently sold about $600k in shares at the end of November. Still think there's nothing to see here?
