If ALPA let’s us down this contract, I’m going scorched earth for in-house union. With my last 121 carrier, ALPA lied straight to our face during roadshows after negotiation (probably the first time they’ve ever done that). Luckily us lowely regional pilots were smart enough to vote NO. The second offer was WAY better. I’m all for second chances but after that…

Luckily management will offer us best deal on TA1. (If you didn’t catch sarcasm on that statement, you are part of the problem)

Hardly. Those suckers got played and voted their last CBA in with 90%+ voting yes. And it was the first TA. Those dummies were too stupid to vote down the first offer. They should know better than that. Everybody knows that you always vote down the first TA because all it is is a sell job by the union.

If IPA merged into ALPA, it would still be the same UPS pilots running their union, just like they do now. It’s your specific members and leadership that determines your success. Having resources only helps your level of success.

Sorry, it was sarcasm. I know there's no sarcasm font here, butI thought I laid it on pretty thick. I think you guys have a great union. It was a jab at some of my coworkers who think you must "vote down the first offer no matter what" and if you don't you're weak.

Show me in my post history where you would even get the idea that I'm 100% behind anything, anywhere. I know the next step in this game where someone dares not to indulge in the groupthink here on APC. It's going to include people telling me I don't work here and telling me to type out the third word in the fifth paragraph of the second story on PFC to prove that I'm an actual FedEx pilot.
