These guys worked for me. I think it was about $250 an hour. They have an office in Memphis. Good luck!

Do any of these instances have a prenuptial agreement?

How effective are they?

Every pilot must read this...

"The Predatory Female" by Rev. Lawerence Shannon

Great for laughs and pretty good relationship advice.

BLUF....it's cheaper to rent than to buy.

Looked up the "Reverend Shannon"....turns out to be a deceased airline pilot....apropos, I think. PDF is downloadable off the net.

SAVE YOURSELF!!
Two years happily divorced. It will be tough, but keep your chin up!

I'm wondering about this too. I've heard that they might as well write them on toilet paper so at least they will be useful when the big day comes. Curious.

What I was hoping when I posted this problem that, A pilot from Tennessee that has been thru this could inform me on his alimony.
Don't need a attorney.

Tough situation thankfully you have no kids. My ex wasn’t that bright. I offered a lump sum of cash. She saw it and took it. She blew through it and I’m happy and don’t have to deal with her.

Do not accept “boiler plate” language for a QDRO letter when it comes to dividing up your 40i(k) and “A-Plan” (speaking from experience!), well worth the services of an attorney who specializes in ERISA law.

The “Revereand Lawrence Shannon” was an AAL pilot with 7 ex’s!! I was on an AAL deadhead (years ago); he was the captain, and the flight attendants were debating placing a few drops of Visiene in his coffee.

Do yourself a favor and get a mediated settlement, most states and most judges are pretty cut and dry how they split assets. Don't buy an attorney another car.

This ^^. It's best if you and your wife can sit down and come up with an equitable arrangement. In some states if she cheated, and you can prove it, you may not owe alimony. Everything else is basically split of assets per your state's law.
