Probably some 777 FOs can give you a idea of QOL and pay. I had a friend on it a few years “fo” back and with the occasional extension and grid payments he was making close to if not narrow body captain pay.

How senior is the Airbus going nowadays compared to the 767? It looks to me like the schedules are better on the Airbus, in general?

That's very debatable. We are constantly complaining about our better trips going to the 767.

They take good Airbus trips and when they move them to 767 bid back they combine it with other crap to make more efficient crap. Most trips I have in 767 are just a little shy of paying block time. A lot of 25 hour trips with 23 hours of block. So glad we gave up 8 in 24.

just guessing here, but at his seniority, he would be a senior FO on the 777 and would probably make more money than a 757 CA.

So this is confirmed? 757 CA pay as 777 FO? What’s the average annual pay for 777 FOs?

I’m always learning but looking at the pay rate I noticed 215/hr 15yr 777FO and 262/hr 15yr 757 CA so wondering how the 47/hr difference is made up. Does one sacrifice QOL To make up the difference?

Maybe, depends on your INDIVIDUAL definition of QOL.

I couldn't afford the pay cut to go to 757 Capt. Inside of top 50% in the seat and high 5 is no problem. Only issue is what to do with getting Diamond/Platinum status on whatever airline you fly . The big BUT is if you can't sleep on the plane. Otherwise, no brainier. The QOL question I don't understand. You work less and get paid more, not to mention the occasional bump.
