I think that I would just stick to the sky slopes. Do me a favor. I cant quite remember the responses to the challenge and response to the fleet protection plan. Could you get his wife to look it up for me?

Nightflyer 04-02-2019 12:25 AM

The company has said before, I think via FCIF, that allowing your wife or anyone else to log in as you is forbidden.

Probably pretty easy to have a buddy or neighbor who works for us if you live in MEM or ANC too. “Hey bud, I’m going on a trip and I’ll be in the middle of a 12 hour leg when open times released. Can I leave my phone with the entrust app at your place, and if you have time can you log in for me and submit a request for these couple of trips? I’ll owe you a bottle. Thanks man!”

You could be correct that is written down someplace you are NEVER to give out your login password to ANYONE, even another employee....

But I doubt a guy who lets his wife or bud pick up trips for him while hes on the road would even care. Seems to me the company doesn’t care either since none of these Wolfpack guys have ever been disciplined.

You might be surprised how little some companies care about certain rules. My buds at the passenger carriers manipulate their schedules in flight all the time; they use the on-board WiFi. obviously they aren’t supposed to be doing while flying. Know how many of them have been called by their chief pilots for doing that? How many have been called by the FAA? Zero.

I can't believe you're advocating that on a public forum! And people are in denial about BOTs and people cheating.

This is may be the dumbest post yet.

Of course, they leave the entrust app with their wife or neighbor. And they love pinging open time for me at 3AM. My neighbor really wants me to fly charters. Seriously?

I agree. Ain't gonna happen. An educated guess tells me these guys are on FxCal all day, pinging every couple of minutes. They aren't leaving their phone to their spouse, friend or neighbor to cover the times they're in the air. Not gonna happen. Plus the fact that the company can easily track if you're in the air and manage to put in for something.

I go with the theory that they had heads up on the charters.

My apologies then.

It’s tough to interpret sarcasm and humor on these boards.

Here is how I believe they (we all know who they are) acquire the charters:

General Makeup Submission using PMU (#1 on the open time pecking order is PMU...PNP is #2 so this isn't the problem imho)...something like min 4-max 7 day, DDH, International should do it.

Then just wait...and this request will earlier time stamp everyone else...even those hawking open time. They might have tipper on charters but it isn't required.

Ever wonder why a trip gets frozen (FZ)? I believe it is because they are waiting for #1 PMU guy with the volunteer request in to either accept or reject the trip...maybe he is flying and that is why a trip gets frozen.

A trip meeting his criteria pops into open time and while all us mortals are clicking away on FxCal trying to get it...guess who gets it...PMU boy.

There might be some way he drops the trip and picks it up at 3 am to preserve PMU but I'm not sure about this as I have never had an hour of PMU. Does it expire? Can it be recycled and reset? I would like to know how these guys are constantly able to have so much PMU. That is what seems fishy to me. Everything else is legal and isn't a BOT imo.

Standing by for spears and please tell me where I'm wrong so we can figure this out.

As a side note, PurpleToolBox, congrats on living up to your name. Your 3 hours open time suggestion and priority going to senior guys for open time is the dumbest thing on the internets today. Here is your sign.

I’ve been told that the trip are frozen because the pairings are incomplete.

Purple lurker, I don't think your General Makeup idea using PMU would work. I've tried using PMU for general makeup, trips that fit my parameters come open, and nada. Maybe someone else can weigh in on their experience.

It worked with a General Makeup request for me the one time I had PMU. Maybe your parameters weren't met even though it appeared they were? Just a guess.
As far as recycling PMU? - I've never tried but I have been told by someone who has that it works. Drop the trip and pick it back up as normal M/U and your PMU is available again.

I consider that a bit over the line. Definitely not in the spirit of why PMU came to be. It is designed to give someone a chance to make themselves whole after a schedule disruption, not grab multiple trips ahead of everyone else over and over.
