I’ve heard they trade with each other. So whoever has days off snags said parameters and then they basically swap with each other.

Wolf packers are busy proffering today since they’ve taken the snapshot. How much PNP did they get this month? We need to end PNP now....

I don't see any proffers (maybe they've already disappeared), and what snapshots are taken on a Wednesday afternoon? Is this for carryover/secondary lines?
Scheduling takes a snap shot of your schedule after the SLG opens. People are bidding min days off, and will be given credit for carryover days. After secondary lines are built, they will take the number of credit hours awarded, then give them PNP to make up for their loss. Simple formula: Average BLG - Secondary line credit hours = PNP So, now that the snapshot has been taken (and they are given credit for min days off), they proffer their carryover trips. They’ve freed up the end of the month (where their carryover used to be) and use their PNP to feast on the best trips. Then they do it again next month, and the next... For those in the MD, if you’re wondering how they seem to have an endless supply of Priority time, that’s how. PNP is only awarded on Secondary lines when bidding min days off. Again, another well intended plan, but not used as intended. And don’t forget, PNP never expires so the FO Wolfpack will bring that with them to the left seat... |

I can only speak for the MD-11. This concerns secondary line.

I don’t understand what’s wrong...is it smartly using the rules to bid? And are they always changing their schedule at the last min to pull this off? I only speak for myself, but there’s something to be said for knowing my schedule a month out, or later with VTO. If guys are willing to destabilize their work (and family?) schedule constantly, I say good for them. Help a new guy out...are they violating rules or just being smart with the existing rules? I want to learn contract stuff, but holy ****, that document puts me to sleep. |

That's not the Wolfpack. That's your contract. You probably don't like pilots doing -12 each month either. But I agree, pnp needs to go. Vote better.
I never said it was illegal. I said it was a well intended contract addition that hasn’t worked out great for the majority. Ever notice that it’s extremely difficult to get a trip due to priority make up? I could care less about -12, at least it doesn’t time stamp your request. |

People complain incessantly about them, yet this gives them more ability to keep hoarding trips. |

I think the snapshot is taken on Friday when the initial secondary inputs close in conjunction with the close of vacation adjustments. Planning uses that snapshot to provide the practice build for Saturday morning. |
