Figured this would be a good spot for a 757 rumor question.
Is their any validity to FedEx starting operation to KECP (Northwest Florida Beaches Airport)?
I'm an -11 guy from the Destin area and found this rumor to be intriguing.

ECP would be awesome for trunk service and almost guarantee that I’d finally relocate to the area. I’ve never heard the rumor though.

Rumor has been there since before the new airport was under construction. The other rumor was SWA was going to serve the new airport. I scoffed both. I was wrong on the latter, so I won't say the former won't happen...but there has been chatter (and no action) on that for years.
Got a T-Hangar and a Navion for sale if anyone decides to roll the bones and move to ECP however. You will be hard pressed to find nicer people anywhere and your dollars go a lot longer there for waterfront property than about anywhere else I've seen.
Without that new ramp, however its 95 minutes on a deer filled 2 lane road to TLH and about 3 hours to MOB. Its not an easy commute without some deviation money.
