I guess the company is completely fine paying MEM MD'ers AVA and Draft pay for another year with these small assignments.

Well hopefully there won't be a lot taking AVA and Draft over the next year.

Is there some sort of secret code word that gets sent out when we’re supposed to stop accepting draft?
Even making a post as an individual on a web board could cause problems for the union. |

No that would be an illegal job action and the union could/would get sued.

Posts on APC were also used frequently during the court hearing. United did it as well: https://www.wsj.com/articles/SB974674777903570505 |

Even making a post as an individual on a web board could cause problems for the union. Contacting other pilots, or naming names, can get you fired or forced into retirement. It's not the SCAB clicker era anymore. Now it's creating a hostile work environment and I don't think there's a Union that can save you from a complaint submitted to management. The best protection should FedEx come looking for hostages is a long history of not working extra. In general, if I get bumped for training I might look for something to fill that gap. But I'd rather go to the hotel in Memphis than suck up a 2 or 3 leg night. |
