Contacting other pilots, or naming names, can get you fired or forced into retirement. It's not the SCAB clicker era anymore. Now it's creating a hostile work environment and I don't think there's a Union that can save you from a complaint submitted to management. The best protection should FedEx come looking for hostages is a long history of not working extra. In general, if I get bumped for training I might look for something to fill that gap. But I'd rather go to the hotel in Memphis than suck up a 2 or 3 leg night. |
