Every minute that you are there, you are being scrutinized and evaluated at how you interact with the fedex bigwigs, as well as the guy or girl handing out the sweet tea. The last 3 hrs will definitely bear on your being invited to interview.

Any recommended preparation? I assume practice your short intro of yourself...but beyond that it’s basically “cocktail” hour with a lot more pressure and not as many cocktails?

Also, I assume bring a plethora of resumes.

Finally...it says business casual. In this case, I assume that basically means don’t wear a suit but shirt, tie, sport coat/blazer is desired.

Thanks!

This.

Always be nice to everyone.

Custodians are people, too.

I am sure they keep a record of who comes to these.

Myself and many others who attended the previous expos received interview invites within 6 months. I would say it is a great sign if you want to work at FedEx.

Anyone have an idea of how many people are invited?

Got the TBNT via email. I don't think I've ever seen a TBNT for a career fair!

Got a TBNT as well, maybe next time! If anyone’s curious it sounds like they’ve invited 300 pilots, and I’m guessing a lot of them are Navy pilots.

I received the ‘Congratulations, we’re saving a spot for you at the Expo’ email and immediately responded as directed. Haven’t heard anything since. Am I SOL?

Check your junk folder... My follow-up email took a few days but eventually ended up there despite the initial making it through the screens.
