Exactly! I took every opportunity to do just this.

There were some good parts of the survey, but man, just put it out there about the VBP. The PBS questions seemed more direct. Why not do the same for retirement?

NO to both. That's all.

Every pilot should paste the response FastBurner posted in the pay raise thread into the union survey as free text. Can't state the issue much more eloquently than that.

I’ll take that a step further...I want FastB to represent the pilot group during negotiations. Dude’s website & analysis are legit.

No “We read a book by someone no one has ever heard of , retirement plan” just in case they change the name again.

To make this easy....

If cost of living adjustment is off the table - fine, simply increase B to 12% (with annual increases), cash over cap, and profit sharing for any amount over “X.” Just isn’t difficult.
(Excerpted from FastBurner)

This should be our mantra!

I actually said that I did not wish to order the pancakes, rather I wanted more of the steak and eggs (pension to IRS limits, increased DC and cash over cap).

Where is this 12% number coming from?
