Looking at our demographics I bet less than half of us are vaccinated. My guess is that we're probably even less than the TN average.

I overheard a captain and his FO in Ops about three months ago. The captain asked the FO if he had gotten his vaccination. The FO said nope. Said that they were implanting an operating system in everybody to control them. I looked up to see if he was joking - he wasn't. The captain had an interesting look on his face....

This vaccine is considered experimental. The gov has also waived any legal rights you previously had under US law to sue for damages. Want me to take it...make it not experimental and also dont waive my legal rights. Until then I will take my chances.

Amen. And I don’t accept society’s guilt for not participating.

I'm guessing this would be legal in America. If you stay at a hotel then the room is the property of the hotel. Once you leave the hotel it's their property and you have zero attachment to it. It'd be a responsible precaution for both workers and future guests to check it for Covid to prevent the needless spread of this thing. If they found evidence of Covid then they'd have a responsibility to tell you.
Maybe coordinating with the government would be a bit much... In China the gap between the government and a private entity is completely blurred so it's cut and dry there. There they can and will do whatever they want to you. The only thing they need to worry about is infuriating the company or pilot group (or both) so bad that we simply refuse to go there.

In China they can do that for sure. I'm not sure what my "DNA" would be worth or why anyone would want to buy it though. I'm not sure why anyone would be curious what's in my DNA but I do shed it everywhere I go. If someone takes it and finds something interesting to do with it then maybe we'll cross that bridge when we get there. The American government isn't following either of us around to force hotels to steal our DNA....

Shana, they didn’t get the vaccine, they knew what they were getting into. I say let 'em die!

That was my thought when reading the OP’s rant. As legitimate as this issue of bot being informed of post hotel testing, we shouldn’t conflate it with his obsession with pilots that do what is in their contractual right to do when flying DFT or VLT. That’s an entirely different discussion.
