I’ve no kidding had a captain say to me “it’s up to the FOs to get us a contract, I’ve done enough sacrificing in my career”

I didn’t do that because you’ll get fired if you do. I was extremely short with him when he asked me a question and then we left the room. He could tell I wasn’t happy with him. Did he understand why? I don’t know.

Happens on the crew bus all the time. Usually done after the guys get on the bus, one after another and immediately b!tch about how much they hate Memphis, meanwhile the driver was born and raised Memphis and makes minimum wage I venture. Lack of SA and humility is appalling.

I have heard of a noticeable uptick in blocked calendars from pilots picking up trips. Some of the reserve guys watch the open time trips to see if they can expect a call and more often then not there are blockers picking up draft. We used to say there are many reasons to block and it is 100% a personal right afforded by the company to each employee. We used to say those reasons were not because they were hiding their workload. What do we say now?
