The point is that most FedEx pilots were not here when there were pay codes available for all to see. Myself included.

Actually, it was removed from the trip recap page with each crew position/name/emp# showing their pay status during ALPA (1's) negotiations with the company in the Spring of 1995. It never came back fully after that.
Cheers and keep the faith!

Not true - all that info was still available on the recap page into the early 2000’s

At Delta we had a “trip coverage report” it was live as any trip was assigned it would show up with a code. It was great to know if you were passed up for premium pay as you would then get paid 100% of the trip that you were passed up for.

Nope!!! I think the union would argue why should you get paid for a trip you didn’t fly?

There are too many loopholes in our contract. There is no way a junior pilot should be in a sit which someone senior to him/her held on a bid and is not getting paid for it. It doesn’t matter whether or not they came from an FDA.

Saying we sit in the dark isn’t exactly factual. I do agree a more efficient system for verification would be nice. How do you think most pilots would react to having a pay code published for ALL to see? Do you think most pilots would like that? I would be in favor.
There is no such thing on VIPS as closed time, and the FXCal feature by that name only works if you happen to grab the trip in one of your refreshes, if you even use that app. So yes, we are sitting in the dark.
