Yes. Self help isn’t limited to striking. Coordinating to not pick up OT is an example of self help. However you must be released to self help otherwise it’s illegal work action.

It's critical to know what you can and can't do while in status quo, as well as what changes once you're released to self help. It's equally critical to know that when released to self help, BOTH parties are released. You need to know in detail what management can do when they get released, and have mitigating strategies in place to counter them. Day one of self help is no time to be saying "They can't do that! (can they?)"

Also, FYI, during the World Airways strike, they did not strike government contract flying like moving troops/families. Only their private revenue flying was targeted.
Not sure if that would be an option with our postal flying, just a data point.

You are incorrect. Atlas sued Teamsters and won. The basis of the lawsuit was that historic open time pick up was down and that constituted a job action. At no time did the union tell us pilots to not pick up open time. They did tell us to BOOT. Block out on time. The union lost on both fronts and had to send an email telling the troops to pick up open time and go early if able. Just because we have a legal right to be at the table doesn’t mean crap. The Govt., no matter who’s in office, isn’t on our side.
I personally haven’t flown draft since July of 2021. So don’t read into this that I’m a draft king. I’m just pointing out how powerless we really are in this game. The above mentioned lawsuit was eye opening for me.

Nowork is taking a month off.
Reminder for those who didn't read the banner announcement....
It is against the APC Forum Rules to advocate any labor action which is not authorized by the RLA/NMB. This applies to ANY wildcat actions, including slowdown, work-to-rules, withdrawal of enthusiasm (WOE), sickouts, etc. It is irrelevant whether the union itself has anything to do with the action. Major unions have lost court cases and in one instance suffered severe financial damage in the process. Online posts, including anonymous posts and posts made here on APC, have been used in lawsuits against unions. Most major airlines are in negotiations at this time, and many are contentious. We have been contacted by major union legal teams regarding this issue. The rules here have not changed, but the enforcement will now result in a 30 day ban from APC for violations. Please don't sabotage your own union's efforts on your behalf.
