List of things to get you fired:

This reminds me of a guy who used to work here. he got picked up by the TV show Survivor, and from there he got offended a job in TV news, the guys on the crew bus $hitting all over him for leaving the best job in the world, these guys with bloodshot eyes at three o’clock in the morning, flying off to some two-star hotel at LAX with their new best friend, so caught up in their egos that they failed to see the success in the one who abandoned his post at FDX!

Back to the origin of this thread.
This reminds me of 2008 when guarantees went to crap and excesses were on the horizon. The company began to cry about being overstaffed. What did they do? They immediately threatened to fire everyone who still held a furlough seniority number elsewhere. They're like a jealous trailer park boyfriend. "I'm dun with you Charlene but you ain't gettin' with no one else while I'm still breathin'"
Firing people who are trying to leave as you're telling them you don't need or want them is not a new low. It's a return to a previous low. It is also an ethical embarrassment on the part of Flight Management and HR.
