You have stated, as well as other notorious posters that the 2015 CBA was terrible. Yet it was the standard bearer for the entire industry for majority of the last seven years even as others negotiated another cycle between. In many areas it’s still better than the new Delta contract. So what is it?

No improvement in retirement
the lay flat seat debacle
gave up pass over pay
secondary line generator “never built”
Didn’t fix known scheduling shenanigans
Allowed In policies that allowed more secondary lines essentially mini PBS
did not fix established fares
This is just off the top of my head

This is just off the top of my head
- Pay increases were too low (it was basically nothing more than a COLA - not an actual raise)
- International hotel in lieu of deadhead gutted
- Sick call policy unchanged
- No real time trip trading
- Open time/insufficient reserves abuse not fixed
- A continuation of extra benefits for people of a certain age offered to ensure enough "yes" votes - this paradigm of "its my turn - where's my cookie?" needs to be broken (and I am saying that as one who is "that age" now).
There's more, we could keep going. Just look at all of the posts from that time period where we were trying to counter the Kronan, FXLag, and AlbieF15 sales job.

From the damage control email this morning… sounds like the NC is possibly content with just matching DL (maybe plus 1-2%) and doing the “corporate performance metrics” raise for the rest of what we have already earned.
Definitely sounds like they aren’t even interested in demanding snap ups for when UA/AA etc get even more.
Pretty sad considering the sacrifices fedex pilots made the last few years while everyone else sat at home with full pay and the company spent $5 billion on stock buybacks and is now trying to cry poor despite making billions.

From 9/28/22 NC update
”Pilots are unified on more than just retirement. From top to bottom, you need to see other meaningful improvements to our contract, including industry leading pay rates and Quality of Life items. This has been a pilot-driven agenda from day one”
industry leading pay rates. Pilot driven agenda.
nothing has changed from where I sit
