After a thorough review of TA, which all of the naysayers and NO voters on this forum have obviously not done. Here are some facts, not rumors, lies and scare tactics the NO voters rely on:
-Pay increase above inflation and industry leading- YES, just look at charts in Sec 3.
-Retirement increase one of the best in the industry- YES, Read Sec 8.
-Vacation still best in industry.
-Scope very little change still substantial penalty’s that the company will have to pay.
It’s so much easier for all of you vocal NO voters to just slam every aspect of the TA rather than OBJECTIVELY read it!!!
You Emphasize in your arguments very minor issues like R16, Vacation sell back, etc. and ignore the big items such as Pay and Retirement!
What really shows your true colors is that some on this forum are actually advocating to boycott the road shows.
I guess they are afraid the pilots will be educated with facts, not the dribble posted on this forum, and become YES voters!
You sound like a bunch of entitled spoiled brats that want everything and unappreciated of what we have achieved in this TA.
I pray this TA passes and all you disingenuous wining entitled snow flake NO voters are miserable with your
Industry leading PAY, RETIREMENT, and VACATION.

I'd rather keep the QOL/soft-time benefits of our contract for the next few decades than sell them away for what they are offering.

Guys like cloudsailer are not going to road shows, they would rather stick their heads in the sand and spend their time spewing falsehoods, lies, and scare tactics rather than getting educated about the TA.
Concerning furloughs, when I got hired by major before FedEx I was told we all would make Capt. in 3 years, instead I was furloughed in 3 years.
Wake Up people! If the company needs/wants to furlough I don’t care what we have in the contract it’s going to happen. That’s the Airline industry like it or not.
I truly hope it never happens here at FedEx but just a reality check.

Funny, I also read the TA. I don’t think those words mean what you think they mean. But as long as I read my daily Pravda from the union I’ll have the facts I need to vote yes. Remarkable. I truly hate banging my head against the wall with some of you, but it’s my career. The union put forth a contract that will erode QOL, eliminates the pension for my future FO’s, and gives a paltry raise in comparison to our peers. You vote yes for whatever reasons you want. I’ll vote no and hope there’s more of me than you.

Anyone who thinks this TA needs to pass is fooling themselves. It is a poison pill that will see your jobs outsourced, your QOL greatly reduced, and a pay rate that is a pay cut in terms of inflation. It is the biggest POS in my 17 years here. If you are junior you need to ask a lot of hard questions, starting with how much you look forward to being furloughed.
Completely agree!
The world economy is slowing, yes. But not anything near the 2009 crash & everything worked out fine after that.
Don’t get in the mind set of “we have to take this offer, it’s the best we can get”.
*Pay raise is lacking Delta ( and I’m sure United, AA & UPS once they all sign )
*A Plan giveaway? Really, why would you ever want to stop that! Totally ridiculous thinking.
*Scope is what saves our jobs in this industry. Strong scope language is vital for job preservation.
This TA is dividing the old vs the young.
FedEx management is looking to get 50% +1.
Send this TA back with a resounding NO vote.
( just as United did with their Tumi 1.0 TA )

OK I have to chime in after reading all this misinformation, whining, and MEC/ALPA bashing.
These are my points, like it or not the silent majority must speak out!!!!
1. My New Hire pay was $2000.00 a month and I was happy and proud to be at FedEx. This TA raises it to 6 to 8K a month. Quit whining!
2. I know MEC leadership personally and know the did the absolute best they could and better than any of you naysayers could have done!
3. I will definitely be a YES vote and hope all you uninformed naysayers will be educated over the next month or so and also vote YES.
4. I am happy with the retirement improvements and Pay increases. I know of an Airline that got a true industry leading contract in 2000 and shortly after that went bankrupt! Is that what you want for FedEx?
5. R24 to R16. We didn’t even have R24 before 2015 contract, so be happy that we still have some form of it.
6. All this Scope talk, well it was not even an issue in the surveys that we all submitted, so why is it such a big deal to some of you now? You can’t just keep moving the goal posts during negotiations.
This may have ruffled a few feathers, that’s good you all need to wake up and realize that this TA is a light years ahead of the 2015 contract and be happy and thankful for all the hard work PM and the MEC put into it.
Now that everybody has had a few days to throw their temper tantrums, let’s now let cooler heads prevail!
If this TA gets voted down the amount of lost wages and lost retirement income for 2 years will almost be impossible to recuperate.
The Company will be laughing all the way to the bank and we will be stuck with 2021 wages and substandard Retirement from last contract for 2 more years.
Wake up people!! Take what we got and address all the minor little issues, I.e. R24, AVA, etc with the next contract.
