Too bad we’re just cargo pilots flying the same equipment during worse hours with dangerous goods onboard all while generating more revenue per flight.

Totally agree!
FedEx ‘was’ the envy of any young regional pilot.
But this TA will be the laughing stock of all 2023 airline contracts.
FedEx will be behind in hourly pay, work rules, giving up Scope rules & giving away the A Plan.
No airline is giving back anything in 2023.
Do what UA did with their original TA Tumi 1.0, fire the MEC & start over!
You old farts, stand up for what’s right, keep our industry strong & don’t be selfish.

8 billion dollar contract for 5,900 pilots vs 9 billion AA contract for 12.7K pilots. I doubt that AA pilots or anyone else is laughing at the FX contract or even cares. You read through the DL, UAL or AA contracts and care about any of the issues in their contract other than pay rates? Its nice to just make up stuff if it helps you feel better. But if you think a person should vote Yes or No based on another airline's opinion is just pointless.

Funny how during communications our NC went from “Industry Leading rates” to “Enhanced payrates.” While APA goes back and demands better!

As stated, we did not achieve two of the three goals: ‘industry leading Hourly Rates of Pay’ or ‘Retroactivity of pay rates and benefits from the amendable date’
These are the published openers from FDX ALPA, which I’m assuming you’ve read

LJ made my point for me. Thanks, LJ. The majority of the old timers here don’t care about anyone but themselves and their peers. They absolutely do not care about the new hires on board already, nor the future new hires if we ever hire again. Yes, LJ, we should absolutely care about what other airlines are willing to give their pilots during this time of unprecedented demand for our skill set. Just because the sun is setting on your career doesn’t mean it has to for the rest of the pilot group.

I’ve been here 30 yrs. I retire in 18 months. This TA is a pos just like every other contract ALPA has brought us! I have yet to vote yes on ANY contract during my career. My record is intact. I VOTED NO ON THIS ONE AS WELL!

All I know is my friends flying the exact same airplane at United, Delta, AA that I fly at FDX will be getting more $$$ deposited into their bank accounts every month than I will be. You can tell me that my retirement that I am not even guaranteed to collect in the future and my vacation (that I am not even maxed out on yet) and don’t get paid for it regardless counts as compensation, but what I care about is how much am I earning each month … that to me is ‘Real’ compensation that matters since it’s what’s putting food on the table and paying the bills today, and not many years from now.
