Default The road to the promised land

Well Helter Skelter is upon us! The 12 Angry Men mis-represented, twisted and down-right lied to instill fear and distrust of the people who had labored selflessly for this pilot group. You leaders of men who hide behind pseudonyms and pontificate from positions of complete ignorance have succeeded in losing millions of dollars of income, not just for today but for the lifetimes of our pilots.
Great slogan’s and self-absorbed opinions of personal negotiating abilities will definitely result in achieving an “Industry Leading Contract”. Everyone of you please post your real names so that we all can vote for and recognize you when you run for the empty Union positions, post your phone numbers too so that we may call and express our opinions about your intellect, your motivations and your abilities.

THE FACTS: (Please do not try to dismiss these with childish comments, it just furthers my point)
1. Neither Tony C or Brian H or any of you other tough guys will lead this pilot force to a more beneficial contract than what was just voted down.
2. You will NEVER recover 100% retro-pay from the amendable date so automatically you are leaving people behind, and let’s not forget the soon to be retiring.
3. The amount of time to get TA 2.0 is going to be considerably longer than what was sold by your peers. (You can’t even talk to the mediator until after Labor Day)
4. Any hope of being released by the NMB is gone at this point. You have no leverage, You have no ability to affect the Company, no way to bring them to their knees.
5. You are owed nothing by the company, all of you air wh***’s took your 200% and made $700k,$800k,$900k,$1M. Your “sacrifices “ what a joke.
6. The Polling will reflect the same numbers for the same issues that every MEC has looked at since the union has been on the property.

So let the circus calliope music begin, there will be no surge in active participation, the Crewforce will not redouble their efforts and none of you will do anything more than hide in the weeds and berate the new administration for failing to meet your uninformed, uneducated, overblown expectations on this forum.
Rest assured I will repost this thread every month until you ultimately capitulate in 2-3 years.

Seems like you aren’t inclined to “unify” with the same crowd who has spent the last 8 years angrily *****ing about anyone who voted yes for the 2015 CBA. The same crowd who has now essentially voted to keep the 2015 CBA for the foreseeable future. 🙄
The 2023 TA is dead and buried. It will be fascinating to see what the next NC is able to accomplish in the current global freight environment. I wish them well and good luck. And spoiler alert…no matter what they come up with, the same people who are always angry will still be angry.

It always amazes me how throughout the life of our contracts, the company is touting max profit, stock buybacks, management bonuses and showering shareholders. Well except when comes to compensate us during negotiations, the sky is always falling, economy is in a spiral etc. However once we agree to their concessionary offers, they boast it’s cost neutral and gets back to business as usual.

1. After TA2015, the company boasted it was cost neutral and proceed to purchase TNT for B$$$$$
2. The company made record profits since TA2015 including during COVID and continued with their stock buybacks and shower share holders.
3. The company recently promised it’s shareholders an increase in showering.
4. Even the new CFO was promised his share of showering and he haven’t worked yet.

With all this profits being made and showering being done, why don’t the company put money aside to shower the crew force every 4-6 years knowing that we will be negotiating? Why does it always have to be cost neutral to them? Yeah I know, it’s business. So guess what we need to treat it like business too. They’re not just going to give it to us, we must fight for it. It’s obvious we are nothing but a cost to them.
