Heard them on the crewbus. So that makes it "rumors" that management is floating out with their "trusted" guys/girls. They are so stupid to think anyone would believe these. Standard contract stuff they throw out to see who believes. Mother of all Bids must be coming again. LOL

Yep. I mean it is obvious though, that when/if a TA is ratified we will need to hire again. Now, if anyone shows up to interview is the wild card.

The latest "rumors" from the company side are comical.
"we signed a big postal extension. We're just waiting until we sign the TA until we announce."
Also, "we have a new really big contract, we will start hiring 600 in June."
Of course my personal favorite, "we have a new huge customer. So big that we'll need to fly all the extra flights with contract planes."
So if I understand the company rumor mill they are saying: please sign the TA quickly, young guys don't vote no you will move up quickly and we must have the section 1 changes to improve your job. What kind of fools do they think we are?

VP flight ops retires in May. Chief pilot takes his spot. PM moves to chief pilot.
Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

I’d hope the backlash would be that we change our by-laws to prevent future union leadership flowing to management.
