Just heard a rumor thet Block 5 rep wants to get rid of all leadership and all committies so we can decertify ALPA and get the contract we deserve. That will set us back years, but Block 4 told the NMB he was willing to wait 10 years. What a bunch of a_ _ clowns.

Instead of rumors, why don't we just wait to see what happens with the NMB?

"we gotta keep PM and wait for the NMB."
Then it was "we gotta keep PM so the the company will make their offer. It will magically be excellent this time, we promise."
Then it was "the company offer sucks (surprise surpise), we gotta wait for the NMB, gotta keep PM"
Then it was "The company really wants to make us a good offer, lets keep PM and wait for the good offer!"
And then now we're at "The company doesn't even want to go back to square one (CBA 2015), any QOL improvements beyond CBA 2015 aren't even being entertained, we gotta wait for the NMB!"
I think enough pilots are finally beginning to see that the company is just using this process to continue to delay our CBA, and the screaming minority gang and their representatives that didn't get recalled were there to assist the company with that. I doubt we've seen the last of it, but at least we're on the upswing now in terms of MEC leadership.

We just upped our ante and then before even waiting for a response, said we quit. The controlling entity - the NMB - is gonna have a fit with that. Dumbest move ever. The "even more" division within the pilot group just hit the peak but it will get worse before it gets better. Let's see how you feel in 4 months when we don't even have dates to negotiate and the NMB gives us the same treatment they recently gave SWA and ATI - no. One word answer - there is ZERO requirement anywhere that we must get released. It has to happen one day - but maybe that day is in 10 years from now and it's up to us to see if we can last that long or get something sooner. Dumbest move ever and you morons helped it happen.
I'll be surprised if you have a deal before the end of 2025, and if you do, I predict it will be more on the company's terms than on yours.

Guys like PM, Tuck, Stan, yourself, etc have unfortunately been very successful at making the pilot group stop caring about getting a deal done quickly as long as it gets done right. We tried the "get a deal done quick" thing and ended up with TA2023. Then we tried the "give PM just few more months to get another quick deal" and it just wasted even more of our time. Now the focus is: "get the spineless group out of our MEC and NC, reorganize, and get this done right even if it takes a minute."

Yes, Thank you for making your opinion known - We were all hoping you’d drop by the FedEx Forum and let us know what you think. Based on your posting history you seem to believe that everyone everywhere needs to know what your opinion is … GMAFB (eye roll)

Why would it add 6 months? Cutler and crowd have said it would add at most 1 month transition. Now I think it'll be way more than 6 months. Thankfully it's representative of the minority for the first time since the '90's.

And anyone claiming a "hijack" to ask for proffer of arbitration needs to read the PM. This doesn't delay anything, since the NMB can say No. The company wasn't going to magically respond to our latest supposal with everything we asked for. That's ignorant. Myself and many are DONE waiting for the company to come to the table with what we've EARNED.
