Default Revisions anyone?

If we are so overmanned, why are we getting revised and extended to the max internationally over a week away. I'm so tired of all of this. I sure hope that 84 hr extension allowance goes away.

I imagine it might be fatiguing to do all that time zone changing without being able to properly plan rest.

Between that and contract fatigue surprised any of us can get out of bed.

What costs more? Extending you into your well earned days off for a little premium pay (what? 150%) or hiring a new pilot and building a new pairing? The new pilot gets 100% straight pay, per diem, 401k, and add another pension to the list. Not to mention the psychological advantage the company will gain by doing this over and over. Any other large cargo carriers out there working 17 straight days every month? I bet the CFO knows of one. Are they not keeping us overstaffed by revising this way? Do revisions get captured in the SAM? I’m not smart enough to counter, but just seems like more manipulation of the chess board.

Lean and mean. Exploit the contract. It’s all garbage and it’s the new way of doing things the Dietrich way. The FedEx of old is gone and this is the new. Im on day 2 of an extension. Let the manipulation continue! And don’t worry cause people LOVE IT! 150% of a 2015 pay rate!!!! Look at the purple lines that fill past guys Skeds. 3 days off max a month. Help out. FIGMO. This place sucks.

Company wrote new software during Covid to be able to fill schedule openings due to sick in the field or ripple from maintenance delays. Before they would send out a reserve to cover it. Now they use pilots in the field. Nothing to do withJD.

Everyone was more than happy to get extended before. Plenty of willing to extend on calendars.

With reduced BLG you are working normal days with 150-200% the last four days!

Maybe if the MEC worried more about getting us a contract instead of fighting among themselves you would be making 2025 rates.

Alas, we allowed this to happen. We were and are complacent. We accepted concessionary contracts. We lined up for free pizza and propaganda. We believe that 150 percent of stagnant pay is a win. We willingly give our days off for a company that exploits loopholes. We are, quite frankly, burdened by the worst of us. They are bringing us down. Their poor personal decisions have bled into flight operations, of which we are all subject. They walk assuredly among us and are poised to cry foul when called out. Legally, our hands are tied. It’s a conundrum for sure. It requires leadership, personal will, conviction, and grassroots efforts. And I just don’t see it.

All you said at the end starts with leadership which we don’t have. If we had leadership everything else would fall inline.

Sadly true. Maybe we do need a coup. but TC is assuring us all that no such coup is forthcoming. ergo, it’s wet-blanket city for the foreseeable future.

A point of order...... you really think JD has "nothing to do with" the operation the last couple years? Try asking your peers that have spent any amount of time with Atlas if they share your sentiment.
