Help me understand the timeline, we ask for permission to talk with the company, then launch a campaign humiliating someone on the other side of table?
I like both of these things. It just seems we have the surgical precision of drunk lumberjack.

Chalk it up to union bureaucracy delaying a campaign that had been in the works for sometime, but launched right when the other announcement was made.

Well, what do describe as the situation where an organization posits that their organization is significantly overmanned, but requires extra volunteerism to operate?

Again, i don't disagree with the sentiment but we need to be more strategic with our messaging. We are paying people 98 hours a month to do just this.

Used to pay people 98hrs a month to make huge concessions at the negotiating table and put up “fix the pension” billboards on along the roads the rampers use to get to work. At least the initial course correction is pointing away from that now, even if it still needs some small adjustments.
