What’s the matter you fit the bill of calendar blocker and IC. Surprised most IC do not care when called out, they always have an excuse.
Yea put your head in a pile of💩 so you can listen to your echo chamber of idiots.

I don’t think picking up extra matters much anymore. Union gave up the leverage already. Making things harder on the company isn’t going to help achieve a deal at this point.
I value my time off but certainly don’t have a problem with pilots trying to make extra to support their families. Especially the ones trying to make a living on the 75 B scale.

Let me get this right. Our brothers died in a horrific crash and post about grounding the plane. No condolences or compassion. But plenty of people more concerned about draft. The issues about our lingering contract should not even be discussed in the same sentence as the death of our fellow aviators and others on the ground. Not to mention, the friends and family that will read this childish thread while they are in mourning. I am disgusted by the comments on this board by our pilot group. I publically apologize to the UPS family for this thread. It does not represent the support the FedEx family has for your loss.

I posted this thread initially right after the FCIF came out in case other people had not seen it yet.
You are also welcome to post your own thread on whatever topic you would like.

I agree with your initial thread. I know that I can make my own. I said that it is dispicable to turn your thread into a selfish contract discussion vs turning it towards a safety or compassionate one.

If you get off on feeling better about yourself by telling other people that they aren’t as good as you, that’s something you need to work out before you come back to work.
Despite what you think, one can offer sincere condolences and sincere compassion and still have a discussion about other urgent affairs too, in fact it would be irresponsible if they didn’t effectively manage both in parallel. UPS pilots are having the same discussions about draft as FedEx pilots are having here.
UPS and FedEx pilots are in the same boat here. Friends and peers were lost in a tragic accident and now both companies are in sincere need of their pilot groups to step up to save their operation but won’t make moves to pay industry standard wages with work rule improvements. It is not “disgusting” to remind your coworkers of that, nor is it disgusting to remind them of the fact that the hull loss rate at these two companies far exceeds those of the passenger world, something that needs to be drastically improved.

No condolences or compassion? That’s not true.
