I think that they knew this PEAK was going to go right down the skibbidy toilet. They knew this likely around September. But, HUBRIS prevails. They make so much money they'll take the hit and figure it out next year. Thats how you burn up a company and it ends up in a Wikipedia with a quote like "similar to PanAm" or something like that. Take a look at Boeing right now. They are essentially the same as FedSux. A reputable, reliable company that has evolved into an ethically questionable, unreliable manufacturer that puts a very low value on their once very valuable work force. We are following their footsteps in the forest.

UPS Market Cap = 86 Billion
FedEx Market Cap = 68 Billion
Both companies have a lot of problems but an ignorant argument like “FedEx has triple the stock price as UPS” as a way to say it is a better company is hysterical.

Whats the time value of a not getting a paycheck because you have been replaced by outsourcing? Last time I checked, no paycheck was worth exactly zero. TA23 was definitely not a winner.
