That's the ultimate copout statement. Oh so and so is management and theyre getting a job right in the C-Suite when this is over. Thats what they said about PM too. This is about ending this protracted negotiation and moving the chains forward. The NMB is going to make this happen and if it was the company's choice they'd drag it on for eternity. Once again its the company that caused this. Its the company that ruined so many Christmas with empty delivery promises and "we're sorry" emails. The BRAND suffers and the Company doesn't care. As long as it saves a dollar.

All of these are Cutler talking points supplied by Comer and Turner. They have nothing else to cling to, so they're clinging to the lowest of the low hanging fruit. They know they've lost. They just can't give up the power yet. This is all the have left to fire up their ever dwindling base.

TM got fired because he let PM bring THE INDUSTRY LEADING TA23 to the pilot group with a unanimous vote and 0.0 info about the TA before it went to the roadshow. Then it hits the roadshows and the MEC is applauding PM's message that we better vote YES or THE COMPANY will FURLOUGH 750 guys. So yeah, theres that.
That's pretty much when the wheels came off. Oh wait, maybe it was when a Junior VP of Flight Opts PD told the pilots to resign and get a preferential interview at a regional (and this is deaf ears cause Id bet that maybe 10% or more of the current pilot group came from PSA being promised they'd "hit the lottery at FedSux") and this would be a better career in PD's mind.
