I guess you haven't been around long enough to know about the 20+ 747's that Flying Tiger brought to the dance. And yes, FDX did fly them,and the DC8's, and the silver tail 727's.

Yeah, but everyone flying those DC-8's wore wigs and masks to hide their identities. :cool: In fact, the same could be said for those 727's, which were all pieces of junk years before they were merged into the FedEx fleet. If memory serves, there wasn't one 727 which would hold pressurization on one pack. Even at sea level.:eek:

Did your post have anything to do with my correction to 318's inaccurate post concerning FDX 747's..........and no I wasn't an original Tiger guy. ;)

Sorry, meant to say "has not for a while." Saw one at Kai Tak when I was a kid. Thanks for the correction. ;)
