Yeah that's what I did. Clumped all SE Piston into an other category and in the comments told them what it is. Hope that works for now. Is anyone else having trouble getting the hours to add up to what is on their resume?

I understand the Mentality of the Management and all the Manure you will have to eat at any given company over the course of ones career.... I just see guys all the time talking about the hundreds, if not thousands of hours spent going over a logbook with 10000+ hours to fill out all the minotinous BS!! I undersand if you are military and have 2-3k hours and have flown a couple planes. Some of us civillian guys have flown dozens of GA and commercial Aircraft over the course of our careers. I guess I have not succumb to the pressure to fill out one of those apps. I'm hoping at some point they get desperate enough to just accept a resume and logbooks like old times!!

Back when I interviewed at FedEx (in the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth) I game them my Military, Commercial & GA logbooks. It seemed like they "weighed" them and said, "This feels like about 5000 hrs ... you're hired." They barely looked at them?

I guess that's changed today?

You might, perhaps, say that that was the EXACT moment it changed.

Hello FedEx pilots....

I am currently in the process of finishing my application to FedEx through Pilot Credentials, however, I am waiting to "publish" it until all of my Recommendations have had time to submit.

Question: Does anyone know if the application can be changed or can Recommendations be added after you "publish" it?

Thanks!

The recommendations are tied to the email that you use to submit your app. If the system does not know your email address, then they have no app to attach the rec to.

Congrats...what is sad is these new hires will train and move to HK and be able to bid out before our current HK pilots, that have held a 76 bid award for the past 6 months but we're involuntarily extended...

That's really made a lot of people happy.

Publishing just means that FedEx can now see it and you will be considered. You will not be locked out. In fact, you are encouraged to update your application as your information changes i.e. Flight times, addresses, etc. Recomendations can be added at any time. I would not wait on recommendations to publish your application. FedEx could close the window with no notice and you will not be considered.
