I know that was popular back in 2007 when they were looking for IQ, but I've seen a transition to more EQ and XQ based factors that most companies measure for now....

The General test had stuff like, science, vocabulary ect...

I hope not, because if there are "any buggy" questions in there, that vocabulary stuff could be tough.

Well there will be next class! Although I was enlisted, it still counts. Plus, I was a Pro and I fit into one of the red highlighted ones you pointed out.

Welcome back. You weren't gone long...congrats. I also skipped out on one of those highlighted airlines to come to FDX. So far no regrets.

No checkride failures (ever), volunteer work with my church and ALPA, 2 internal recs, possibly a third coming up... willing to accept an FDA. Not sure what else I can do to set me apart, other than upgrade and get that 1000TPIC. App has been in for just a couple months once the window opened and they dropped the TPIC requirement.

upgrade at my regional is long but Im not far away. I went in last week and took a hub tour and met with a recruiter (KD) for a few mins. After the tour and meeting several folks, FedEx has become my number one choice. Everything was impressive to me and the vibe I received from all the people I met was very positive. I feel personally that it would be a good fit. My feeling is that I am still a ways off from an interview invite, I'll just keep plugging away and waiting on the call. I came away from Memphis really stoked on the company and I really hope to join you all one day.

I know the TPIC requirement went from required to preferred, but a degree is also preferred and when was the last time fedex has hired anyone without a degree?

Have you looked at the cost of tuition to some State U's these days? Lots of people can't afford it.

Saw a bunch of people milling around nervously in suits in the AOTC lobby yesterday. So did anyone get hired or what?

Sweet. Some of those guys interviewed 3 years ago though. I was wondering if anyone got picked up this week for the July class and how many are in the pool now, etc. The pilot recruitment folks are busy these days so it seems like the hiring fire hose has been turned on. Let's hope it stays on for a while.

Rumor has it (the last I heard), that there are 27 in the July class and that they are interviewing 6 a day.
