Retirement letter to FDX MEC

I agree with all the above.
It would be interesting to ask the ups guys on the forum how it works there. UPS moves aircrew around on ups planes. Some of those planes are 767s configured like ours. Thus, all cockpit. Thus, captains have the right to deny. Do they? Or is the contract written in a way to allow the company to move aircrew. I don't know. But I am certain FDXwants to do just that

It is interesting reading, but in no way pertinent to what is being contemplated.
It is not A plan to a bigger B plan.
Instead it is A plan for a differently calculated A plan, while retaining our 8/9% current B plan

You still don’t understand on how benefits will be accrued under a Variable Plan
There are 4 main concerns in the opening of this letter
#3 and #4 are still valid under the change from our traditional DB Plan to an Accural-Base Variable Benefit Plan
I’m sure there are many other relevant parts to the letter, but too late in the day
More research and analysis to follow
