FDX - No negotiations update?
#211
Closed time is an option on Fxcal. If you check open time on the program, and then when you check it again, any trips that were available when you first checked, have been assigned, you can look at the trip recap and see the details... i.e. who got the trip. They are basically removed from open time and will be listed in closed time. You need to go into open time, options and select show for closed time. you then can access it like open time. It is listed below it.

Council 7 update:
A Deal Is Not Imminent...
...Until the company stops insisting upon un-ratifiable provisions. That should be self evident, yet the company's proffer of a comprehensive proposal last month seems to have spawned so-called "insider" (a.k.a. Company-initiated) rumors that a deal is imminent. Those rumors are simply false.
While there were some improvements in last month's offer, the main development was that it combined un-ratifiable components from a number of sections into one bundle rather than spreading those insults out over several months as had been the previous practice. In that sense then, we suppose that the company at least became more efficient at dragging their feet.
Remaining faithful to your marching orders, those of us on the MEC are working for the right deal rather than the quick deal. When un-ratifiable components are made right, we will finally have a TA to show you. Until then, essentially nothing has changed.
While we are respectful of the mediator's efforts and fully support our Negotiating Committee, we remain skeptical that this week's negotiations will spawn good news. So be it, as your MEC has directed your Strategic Preparedness and Strike Committee to prepare for all contingencies.

Sounds like the company wants to take it beyond mediation.
Speaking of the company. On the home page the vp of flt ops talks about how screwed up the hkg/767 deal is. He continues on to say "when the company commits", who is the company, who really makes the decisions around here? It sounds like even the vp of flt ops doesn't know.

Won't get anywhere close to what you deserve until a Strike Vote is at least taken. Fact.
So prepare for this, get your house in order. and take the Vote. Doesn't change much, but does change the perception from the Management's side to get serious.

I'm more than ready! As are my family members, we have been preparing for the last 2 years.
Although I'd rather a strike not come to pass if it does I can assure you that me and many of my work friends are ready both financially and mentally to walk.
On the upside if a strike is averted then I have a good sized slush fund to do with as I and my family see fit. Probably a good vacation because we all need and deserve it after dealing with the crap the company has shoveled on us with arbitrary changes to the CBA.
