FDX - No negotiations update?

Obviously your Leadership is playing Nice. Maybe because they know the Pilot Groups resolve?
We here at the IPA started a Year after you guys, and we are most likely having a Strike Vote in early Sept. So the company understands our resolve.
Surprised you guys being a year in front of us in the time line, haven't done this. This may be a reason FDX isn't taking this seriously and dragging it out. Why not on there part.

Maybe we should get some UPS folks to negotiate our CBA? They seems to understand our problems better than we do and they think they are so much smarter!*?

If our Interim Agreement had 3% per year until we had a new CBA I would agree that it worked out for us! But, I guess, selling your soul for a few sheckels up front makes it worth it to some

The point is, FDX isn't going to do anything with your NC until they feel some resolve in your masses. Like an innocent Strike Vote. What year are you in with negotiations? 4?

Strike votes are worthless. There is a long road to even going on strike so taking a vote means nothing. And the real substance of a strike is who is going to actually strike vs those that voted to strike but won't. You have to get into self help and be released from mediation to go on strike. Then the President can force you back to work. Going on strike isn't just as easy as voting and the companies know that.

I guess you were to busy flying draft and extra trips to make up for the lost manpower of the guys on furlough
