Default FDX - No negotiations update?

The union and company met last week and we still haven't heard how it went. Quiet = good or bad??? Anybody heard anything from the crew bus drivers or other reliable sources?

Reliability Undetermined....

Heard today that Mediator requested additional sessions ASAP since they are close to the end game. Also, that Mr. Smith is wanting this wrapped up shortly to move on to dealing with the large number of issues away from negotiations. Many of which require support from the Pilot Group to resolve.

Again, strictly rumor, attached to reliable sources. For what that is worth?

The longer it takes the more the company will have to pony up to satisfy this guy!!

I heard in the school house that the NC is under a gag order.

He also confirmed the additional days of meetings this week, at the request of the NMB.

Seems like if the quarterly profits are as expected, it is way past time for the company to show us the money.

I wish I shared the optimism. I'm foreseeing email updates six months from now that say 'We're in the red zone...time for the company to bring money to the table...'

I heard in the schoolhouse that the reason for the extra days requested by the nmb last week were because the head nmb guy has vacation in July.

I hope S.L. asks the head NMB guy to sell back that July vacation since the NMB is obviously undermanned like FDX and won't hire like FDX...see how he likes it!

Yes $895 million after taking a "loss" of $2.2 billion on paper for employee pensions. Fuzzy math, and over $4 billion cash for TNT. I am ready now!

I've been at FDX almost 20 years. The ONLY time we've EVER lost money is during pilot contract negotiations!*? They think we're stupid

Maybe they think the NMB guy is stupid also?
