Look at the 757 letter.
01 AUG 2016 Training date
SF & BW were awarded M57C slots on 15-01
SM was awarded E57C slot on 15-01
20 JUN 2016 Training date
SM & TH were awarded M57C slots on 16-01
BR was awarded E57C slot on 16-01
Not that I care, but I always thought the training letters trained in order. All 15-01s would train before 16-01s. I guess not.

It's not that... there won't be any passover. It's different bids.

I'm probably not a good source to answer this, but, I do know on the airbus, there were some 75 captains that were awarded bus capt and their training dates were published as summer 2017 on bid 15 01 training letter. Those captains were senior to the most junior bus captain that will upgrade this summer on 15 01, thus, triggering passover for those folks. I guess they just filled in the training slots between now and next summer with 16 01 guys. Again, this is just what I noticed on the airbus.

While in theory they should train 15-1 first, they will continue to train in any order they choose and then pay pass over if appropriate. It really sucks, because you can't even estimate when you will go to training before you bid. That's why bid for training is a huge gain in the new contract, or will be when it's actually implemented.
