Congrats and welcome aboard. They will probably continue to drop requirements down to preferences as the candidate pool continues to shrink. Crazy to see what took me to 3300+ hrs and 1500+ turbine a few years ago now becoming half that. And even then they said I was lower time during my interview! The industry is changing quickly, that's for sure. Enjoy the good times while we've got them!

Thanks and amen! Huge pay increase compared to my current regional pay. :)

Any idea on the average class sizes? Just curious more than anything.

Welcome to the team! I'd say average class sizes for the past few months have been 15-20. I was in class year ago and we had I think 14, which was a "massive" class they said. When I interviewed I was around 2200TT, 1000 turbine, 500 TPIC with 2 internals, and I was by far the least-experienced guy that interviewed that day!

Ask lots of questions in indoc and feel free to DM me if you have any other specific questions! Congrats!

How long between application and interview?

May have already been asked and answered.

The recruiting team has been extremely busy with road shows as of late. My experience three years ago was extremely short. Applied on Wednesday, received a phone screen on Thursday and interviewed on Monday. Of course it helps to have an internal recommendation.

Thanks. I’ve got several people pulling for me. Nothing yet. Standing by.

You never know, maybe something in the app that is a show stopper.

I got my call in March of '20 after reaching out to the company recruiters directly on LinkedIn. Maybe within 12-24 hrs of doing that I had the invite to the first round of interviews. YMMV but it's worth a shot if you've not done it yet. Best of luck!

Just keep checking that application page. As long as it says still processing, you're in the hunt. Good luck. I hired on June 21st into the Phenom. Haven't see the plane yet. :)

They say by mid September probably.

If it makes you feel better, I have several 'Nom FO buddies that are already on the line and they're getting a TON of reserve at residence days on the first 1-3 days of their rotations. I think right now they're prioritizing all the captain upgrades and getting those guys fully qual'd. Enjoy sitting at home while it lasts!
