Let’s say you’re in the Challenger, and take a Phenom upgrade, how long is the seat lock in the Phenom?

39 months.

Worth noting they're currently allowing phenom captains who have been bypassed out of their seat locks early but they've not put anything in writing and it seems subject to change at a moments notice.

How is seniority handed out in new hire training?

They’re eventually dropping it to 24 months.

Last 4, high is senior, at least from what I can gather. Haven't seen it written anywhere.

What is the first week of indoc at DFW like? Is it strictly company operations, FAA compliance, and 135? I cant see any aircraft specific stuff being covered if there is a variety of planes being assigned. Is there time to go get some good TX BBQ?
Do you get study material for your assigned aircraft that week or do you just wait until you go to specific type training? Self paced or classroom or combo?

It's just company stuff and regs. You get your iPad day 1 and it will have all the airplane stuff on it.
