No Doubt!!! I love the Challenger...and I used to fly LJ's for three years.

But I'd have to say the sexiest of all fighter, heavy, etc is w/o a doubt the G550. Bad a@@!

Yes the 300 is a great machine. One nite not to long ago took off from napels florida going to teterhole, leveled off at 410 and settle in on .79M and here comes this flexjet 300 behind us same alt. just asked for 430 and slowly walked past at somewhere above .80M and kept right on going! truly a great airplane.

Brake release to 10,000 ft in 1min 6sec!

I'll never forget that morning!
A GV will peg a 6,000 FPM rate of climb indicator (EFIS) with 10,000 pounds of fuel, 5 pax + bags, 80 degrees at sea level and normal procedures applied. Nothing special, just climb at 200KCAS while in the Class D and you're climbing better than 6,000FPM.

Flew LJs out of Andrews for 3 years where they have several GVs. Leaving one winter day on our way to Colorado we took off behind a GV, passed it in the climb to 410 and just started crusing.

Shortly thereafter the asked for a climb to 450. We talked to them on a common freq and they said that they would be crusing at .85. We were just putting along at .79.

They won

The GV is one sexy b!*ch
