That is awesome! Happy to see things are moving in the right direction. Did they mention class date potentials?

No nothing of that sort but the recruiter said she'd be back in touch today to talk details so we'll see.

And you will likely be in the Phenom, correct?

Not necessarily. Everyone says that, but the past several classes seem to be about 50% Challenger, 30% Legacy, and 20% Phenom. That fluctuates, of course, but the Phenom has actually been the least amount of awards lately.

The Challenger wouldn’t be a bad gig straight out of initial training. 😁

There also hasn’t been a class in 3 months though, so really no one knows for sure!

Can anyone shed some light on the bonus structure and how attainable it is to make?

I see there are three types - fuel, fractional, and days worked. Last is straightforward on how it's calculated but the other two they haven't done a great job of explaining.

Thanks for any info yall can give

The fuel bonus was paid out quarterly and directly tied to your fuel burn versus time aloft when I was there. Max time aloft versus minimum fuel burn, and not just minimum fuel burn. Because Flex makes more money the longer their plane is in the air and the Hobbs is ticking over to charge owners.

Anyway, there’s some baseline metric for making partial or complete bonus. Usually modified over time. And there is, or was, a website to track how you were doing versus the fleet. Some of it is out of your hands as short legs will always sabotage the fuel metrics in the way they view optimum fuel burn. And longer legs will help you.

New hires will go where there is need. Non IRL upgrades will always go to the Phenom.

So in their eyes when you pull it back and go slower it kills two birds with one stone - lower fuel burns and longer flight times to charge for. Makes sense.
