CFI to United Airlines

That's reasonable, would definitely like to see them duke it out in the farm league before moving up. We're fortunate to have a robust farm league (unlike most other places) so might as well use it.

Man, that gives me great idea for a reality T.V. show, "Survivor: The Regionals".

Ive seen this scam before. The school usually hires a key executive or two as consultants, basically a bribe. In return, the company hires a few people from their school. The school uses this as a selling point to all perspective students. The following suckers think they will get the same good deal and beg to sign up. Word gets around and suddenly school is full and there is plenty of new pilots in the food chain. The dirty little secret is, only a handful will get this dealeo. This also helps put a pressure on the unions power. Its the cheapest possible way to manipulate a workforce. Our Military plays the same game.

As someone who is just finishing up their PPL, would someone more experienced mind explaining what the benefit or catch is of this program?
From the website it looks like the benefit is that United has a much shorter flow through program with their regional carriers than say, American Airlines, but the catch is that you'll be instructing for perhaps a bit longer and the flow through is not 100% guaranteed like it would be if you were hired at say, Piedmont?
Is that about right or am I off or missing something?

I've personally spoken with the hiring manager at LAT. Shortly after interviewing with LAT, you will interview with United. By the time you start instructing, you will have a job at United, assuming you don't screw it up between LAT and your time at United Express.
To answer you will not find many CPPs or flows that give you a guaranteed job at a major... most advertise an interview.
