Finding misc flying jobs.

It was the CHT. It peaked at 500 (redline), after I went full rich within 15 secs of the alarm it stayed at about 415 (inthegreen) till another 20 secs I turned the A/C off. Then it went to mid 300s. It was the hottest of all the cylinders the rest of the flight. It didn't exactly make a happy sound after we parked it, it was making a sizzling sound so he's having it looked at to make sure everything is fine. I'm not sure that sound was normal, I'm hoping it's not a cracked cylinder head...

In 182s? That's what I do and they didn't make me wait for 500tt either. Skydiver runs are about the hardest on an engine I can think of. At least you're near an airport if the thing decides to crack.

The engine problem was in a PA-32... Piper 6x and it wasn't an actual problem come to find out it was just a bad sensor. The 182 gig should be a lot of fun, and a time builder for weekends that will get me away from students and hanging out with some cool guys/gals jumping out of planes. I can't wait to start.

so have any of you heard of some jobs (diver driver, aerial survey, etc) in the Battle Creek area?? I'm stuck at Duncan (A&P) until my contract for Lear 45 school is up and I can't really afford to get my CFI. I will be getting my CMEL in two weeks and my CSEL in about four from Western.

I just got myself a diver driver job for something to do in the mean time before I start CFI stuff. Doesn't pay for anything but it's time in an airplane and a ton better than sitting on the ground.
