I like the ideas, I actually fly sometimes with a doctor in his piper 6x which is pretty sweet... I just don't know where to look for jobs like cloud seeding or aerial surveys.

The TBM is the prime-time seller, so hopefully within a few weeks or so at the job I'll be going to get my initial in the 700/850. This will also give me a "basic" qualification for the Malibu's also(The boss said they are cake to fly). The best part of the whole thing is it's a "regular" job in the hours of 8-4:30! Occasional night/weekend stuff, but still, it's a heck of a lot better than the non-scheduled life of Part 135

Default aerial survey

I'm fresh out of the same school. But I decided to avoid the cost of CFI and to stay away from Annie. Got a job as a photographer/co-pilot for an aerial survey company in Philadelphia flying c310's, 320's and maybe up to the Navajo or Conquest. Good gig if you don't want to pay for CFI and build multi time.

Just did my first paid flight yesterday in a PA-32. it was interesting. CHT spiked on #3. The guy I flew with has his ppl, and 515 hrs in his plane. I was basically there to file IFR... He leaned it out too much or something... So I went full rich, reduced power, turned the A/C off and got it back under control. it was shocking because he didn't even know what to do. I felt like an instructor already... If this is what I get to look forward to it's going to be a long road.

CHT or EGT? And yes, as a flight instructor it's your job to keep yourself, and your student alive
