If atp was so bad I guess nobody would come. As I'm sure everyone is aware its expensive and regionals don't pay well to cover the costs but, on the other hand youre still flying. If money is what you want go be a doctor, lawyer, or specialist. If you want to travel and fly planes it seems like atp is a way to accomplish that quickly. You still have to pass the checkrides!

Silver02- AWESOME.... that must have taken a while and I applaud your work!
Traveljunky- I don't know who you are, if you were ever here, or if your head is just fixated through your ass but you sure are good at talking out of your ass. You read an earnings statement- CONGRATS! You obviously aren't much of an individual investor because you would know that revenue is not the sole purpose of a statement. The stock is for investors, not employees. Employees can be investors- the stock had a great run that you obviously were not on. I am sorry you are left with only a bitter taste in your mouth for pinnacle- maybe if you get your head out of your ass you can learn to appreciate things.
Yes- I just told you your head was in your ass.
I hate to get on your level but maybe you can see how stupid it really sounds when someone does it to you.
Pinnacle has its FAIR share of problems and pluses. As an investor you could not be more pleased with the company, the earnings are rather impressive, costs are low, the company is profitable and diverse. Sure NWA can jerk us around quite a bit but this IS a regional carrier. From the pilot/labor standpoint the company should share with the employees that bust their tails 95+ hours a month to get the company high on time performance rates and go out of there way to keep customers happy.
I will not stop in the MEM terminal to tell uncle Phil good job, but as a person who rode PNCL from $6 a share to almost $20 I have to respect his tactics. In my opinion a fair contract now would save the company a good bit of money in the future and would only help the company with staffing and performance. With -900's and a new base coming up on the horizon this company is going to need every bit of help they can get. Just my opinion- I am not in MGMT and am no longer a direct shareholder. I took my profits and padded my first and second year pay. This company will tell you on day one that this is a stepping stone- get here, get the jet time, upgrade as soon as the FAA will approve, and get out. The longer we stay the higher the cost. What I feel the problem is revolves around the fact that losing FO's only costs money- more to replace than keep.
You can't just bash someone for where they work, especially if you don't know the facts. There are quite a few 9E guys on this board and if you haven't figured it out from airsupport and silver's proof (your own posts) you will not win the bashing of 9E. You worked here (maybe?) but you don't state facts so maybe you interviewed and was turned down? Maybe you work somewhere great like AWAC or Horizon (others don't take offense)- and if you do more power to you- but coming on a board and proclaiming negative and false statements will not get you respect and there comes a point where you are just a wasted post. I will not claim this company is great, but depending on your objectives and your willingness to look at the possible upside (a contract) it can be a good gig for you. This company uses you, so use them- they are fine with it- the earnings should show you that!
I have now taken up a good bit of space- sorry, I snapped.... but where is your head now?
