They are line up around the corner to get in. The selling point is that there will be a pilot shortage at the majors and in a few short years they can go there.
I hate it also. I doubt they will any kind of shortage at the majors the only huge growth will be at the regional level because those pilots are willing to work for nothing to make it to the majors.
Twisted truths.

hahaha traveljunky you make me laugh,, this is old news (the letter ven has a may 2006 date) i love you how you say 8 dollars an hour, and only mention pinnacle... so how long ago were you fired from pinnacle.

atp does this also for the following schools, so you guys dont get swayed by traveljunky's biased opinions because of his termination...

ASA, Pinnacle, Expressjett, Skywest, American Eagle, Colgan, TSA, PSA, Comair, Republic, Air Wisconsin, Great Lakes, Mesaba, Mesa...

CONGRATULATIONS TRAVELJUNKY,, 35 CONSECUTIVE PINNACLE BASHING POST,, YOU ARE THE MAN...

Huh...how'd this turn into a pinnacle topic and what the heck are you talking about?.. ...ven? Are you saying you make more than eight bucks an hour? Last 4 day trip I flew out of DFW credited me 25 hrs @ $23/hr or $575 total. Thats a whopping $5.98/hr over four days/96 hrs. NOT BASHING, but just the facts.

hahaha airsupport you make me laugh and are obviously a product from ATP. What 35 bashings are you talking about? Keep discrediting yourself...doing a fine job.

In fact here is another (bashing?) for Pinnacle. The company had gross revenues of $380,544,000 in the last 6 months but only had employees salaries, wages and benefits expenses of $97,562,000. What a real screwing! I bet you'd love to work there. See the latest 10Q financial at

Just the facts

Airsupport defends 9e, you kinda bagged on them. 9e has a few problems but isn't nearly as bad as other regionals out there. In general all regionals get screwed compared to the major level.

I got the heck out of 9e after 2 months! When the music stops...you need a good chair to sit in.
uh, you mentioned pinnacle in your original post, so i responded. and that pay for a first year fo is different than most other regionals how??

nope never went to atp, if you read my posts you would know i went to school in slc, graduated with a 4 year degree and instructed for 3, i have a couple hundred hours in navajo's, and twin cessnas. and the 35 post i refer to are the post you have made on this board... every post you have made on here (now 36) have been bashing pinnacle (remember there is a search function and we can see every post you have ever made)..

you said you left pinnacle but just flew a 4 day trip??? strange... so if you left us after 2 months were did you go??? or is it because you were fired (failed oe or training) that you left and haven't been able to get a job anywhere else?

What is it with your post and bashing Pinnacle? Does it make you feel better by doing this? You worked there and left for what ever reason... Let it go! What is your obsession with Pinnacle, 99% of your post is bashing the company.

If atp was so bad I guess nobody would come. As I'm sure everyone is aware its expensive and regionals don't pay well to cover the costs but, on the other hand youre still flying. If money is what you want go be a doctor, lawyer, or specialist. If you want to travel and fly planes it seems like atp is a way to accomplish that quickly. You still have to pass the checkrides!

Pinnacle isnt the best but upgrade is fast and they fly you tons. If we ever get a contract, it will be the place to be. But when will we get one......no time soon. Just stay way from Mesa and anything red tailed and youll be fine.
