Different countries have different reciprocal agreements regarding pilot licenses. In some cases they will just issue a PPL based on the one you hold in another country.

This may include instrument priveleges also, but you may have to take the Inst. written.

For commercial you do have to take the checkride, but you probably already meet the flight time requirements, so it would basically be written, checkride prep, and a checkride

The FSDO can give you the details, and tell you what credit you get for your foriegn license. You need to make sure that YOU understand all the requirements, and you will have to manage your instructor...he/she may not understand the requirements.

Well I have 575 hours but I haven't flown in a long time like 6 years and now I'm in a different place and ready to start my flying career...here in the usa...
I want to fly a least another 100 hours before applying to a regional..so my times will be 675 tt with around 60-70 multi.
do you guys think that I have a shot to a job???
