No gps on both the skipper or the running cessna 310 so IMC conditions will be a no go.
Sounds like that guy who I work my butt off to make sure my Cirrus students don't become...

Looks like a lot of non-flying work, but a job is a job, right? If I were in the area, I'd take a look.

Well where I come from its nothing but flat and more flat so what I saw when i was there were mountains to me. Yes in my original post i said IMC is a no go but thats not me saying it cant be done without a gps, I am quoting what the owner said to me about what he does and doesnt want done in his planes. But yes I think right now for me and a lot of people a job is a job.

Default I know CZG!

kanianic,

Did you take the job?

I did part of my flight training out of CZG... there is nothing scary about it... The scariest thing there is the village of Endicott board... by the way it is in Endicott NY (not Apalachin). Yes, we have a few hills around here... but we aren't the Rockies.... I have to admit when I hear your slight fear of them little tiny hills, I begin to think my CFIs were right when they said flight training in upstate NY made me a better pilot... wait till winter hits you haven't see anything yet!!!

By the way CZG is a very pleasant, nicely sized airport… you should be happy that you get the chance to teach there… much worst places exist.
