electronic pilot logbook
I don't know if this is the right place for this. Either way, I have a few questions on electronic logbooks.
1. Allot of my entries as a student pilot are signed by my instructor. If I where to put that time in an e logbook, would it be valid? The whole reason people use logbooks is in case we loose our logbooks no?
2. Do airlines accept eLogbook entries printed on paper or would I still need the original logbooks? If its the later, why would I need an eLogbook in the first place?
3. Anyone recommend a good electronic logbook program? preferably pc based since I find the web based ones to be a bit odd. I already checked out SafeLog but its way too expensive in my opinion for what it is.

Keep a paper logbook while you're earning your ratings so you can keep the CFI endorsements and flight time record together.
After you have all your ratings, an e-logbook makes sense, but for now why tote your endorsements and flight time log around separately?
