You will get hired, but you will go down to Jax, FL and answer phones, or work in dispatch until the location that you want opens up. You also must pass you standardization training with the chief pilot, which I thought was easy, but there are plenty of people who don't make it. Once you have done that, you can instruct and fly as much multi time as you can get. The pay sucks, but you can't beat getting multi time vs. single engine.

What are u talking about, ATP doesn't hire you for one student. Ya you have to wait a little bit before you go to your location like I said before. I would pass up instructing SE for all the ME time. Unless you instructed here, you have no idea what you are talking about. You have to do something stupid to get fired. You will stay on until you are ready to go.

So before you get to instruct in the city of your choice at ATP, IF you get hired, everybody must go to JAX for a little while? I'm hoping to work in the ATL location after I'm done. Hopefully being able to spell will help me get hired. From being on this website, for some reason it seems like pilots in training are illiterate.

They will give you the location of your choice, but you might wait around a little while until a spot opens up, especially at a location like ATL where alot of peolple want to go b/c it is busier than alot of other locations.
