I agree with this as well. Any decent instructor can get you 10x the experience in the sim. Approaches you would never get the opportunity to fly otherwise. Using the navs in ways that you may not have anticipated and would not experience otherwise. I also agree with the others, get a decent PC setup (basically a joystick and software), practice with this. It's one of the few situations where practicing in the sim benefits your flight.
