Except it's NOT a DC 3 type rating!

It's a Second in Command type rating...

That and two bucks won't get you a Latte at Starbucks.

Exactly. Go get daddy's DC-3 and I can get you a Three SIC rating in a day if you've got some tail wheel time.

I'd love the opportunity to sit at the controls of a DC-3 just for the thrill of it. I got a ride in one at 17--got in big trouble by my mom for doing it too! Sure, it'd be cool to have DC-3 written on your cert (yea I never quite understood the point of a "SIC type" which are NOT anything resembling a real type rating.
